Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Sanna Laakkonen is not a healthcare professional, psychologist, licensed massage therapist, or certified exercise instructor. I am also not a cleaner, therapist, or provider of intimate services. My activities are not based on official medical, psychotherapeutic, or sports science education.
The services I offer—such as sauna experiences, yoga sessions, EFT coaching, traditional healing practices, drumming journeys, breathing exercises, plant-based elements, and other guidance—are rooted in folk traditions, experiential knowledge, and holistic wellbeing practices. They are intended solely to guide, inspire, and support personal wellbeing and do not replace medical treatment, diagnosis, or psychotherapy.
Participation and Personal Responsibility
Participation in any activity is at the client's own risk. Clients must assess their own physical condition, life situation, and nervous system readiness before engaging in any guidance or exercises. I am not responsible for any emotional responses, physical reactions, or other individual experiences that may occur during yoga, sauna rituals, breathing exercises, drumming journeys, EFT sessions, or other practices.
Responsibility for Facilities, Equipment, and Materials
I am not responsible for the condition, safety, or functionality of sauna facilities or other rented spaces.
Various baths, plant treatments, or scrubs applied by clients themselves are the client's responsibility. I am not liable for potential allergic reactions or exposure to mucous membranes or eyes.
All known allergies (e.g., birch, conifers) must be communicated in advance.
Participation Guidelines
Clients are responsible for communicating honestly about their needs, such as sauna temperature, breathing, heart rate, or cooling requirements.
In group events, swimsuits or towels may be used at the client's discretion.
During yoga sessions, instructions for movements and posture options are provided. Clients choose which movements to perform. Movements that cause pain, numbness, or discomfort should not be performed.
Light touch may be used in yoga or other sessions (e.g., acupressure or breath coordination), always with client consent.
Trauma and Mental Health Considerations
I am not a trauma-informed instructor.
I am not responsible for potential mental health reactions, including anxiety, panic, emotional release, or dissociation.
Drumming journeys and deep breathing exercises may induce trance-like states. Clients with mental health concerns, psychosis susceptibility, or uncertainty about safety should consult a healthcare professional before participation.
Confidentiality
All personal information and discussions (e.g., during EFT, sauna rituals, or treatments) are strictly confidential. I follow GDPR regulations and personal data laws.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to the scheduled session. Cancellations made later, or no-shows, will be charged the full price.
Additional Notes
Services are not sexual in nature. Clients may not touch me without explicit consent.
Some rituals, such as the Kekri sauna, may evoke strong emotions or memories—participation is at the client's discretion.
Sauna sessions and yoga practices are not religious rituals but are based on Finnish folk tradition, nature respect, and body exploration for mobility and wellbeing.
Clients should hydrate well before sauna sessions. It is recommended to come 1–3 hours after eating. Sauna temperatures may induce heavy sweating, and hydration is essential after sessions. Allow time to rest and recover post-session.
