I will graduate as a Traditional Finnish Sauna Practitioner in the fall of 2025.
In group sauna sessions, you can choose from a variety of themes: sauna ceremonies, bridal or bachelor saunas based on old folk traditions, Kekri sauna, empowering New Moon sauna for women, Kivuttaren sauna, Ukonryhmä sauna for men, and more.
Fresh seasonal vihtas (birch whisks) and herbs create an experience that leaves a lasting impression on both mind and body.
These can be combined with—or booked separately as—individual treatments such as healing vihta rituals and vihta bathing.
In Finnish folk tradition, saunas have often been sacred and even magical places. Sauna songs and chants have also been an important part of this heritage. My goal is to create a multisensory experience for every client.
I am a member of the Finnish Traditional Sauna Practitioners Association and Sauna from Finland.
I offer sauna treatments in tent saunas or private saunas in Keuruu and nearby areas.

LÖYLY= The sauna's steam is its soul, soothing and caring for everyone who bathes in it.

Healing Vihta Ritual is an extremely relaxing individual sauna treatment.
Different types of wood have distinct effects: birch, rowan, juniper, linden, oak, willow, and spruce. Flowers and herbs are also used in special situations.
I use various vihta techniques while creating steam and guiding warmth onto the skin. Clients may wear a swimsuit or enjoy the treatment without one. The session may include a sauna song, which I hum, or in group sessions we can sing together.
The treatment is performed on both sides of the body. Intimate areas are covered with the vihta, and the head is protected with one or two vihtas.
Water dousing can be used to warm or cool the body. It is extremely important to communicate and check on the client's well-being during the session. Fresh air is added by occasionally opening the sauna door. The ideal sauna temperature is around 65°C (149°F).
Hydration is essential before, during, and after the treatment.
Alcohol is not part of the treatment, but clients are welcome to bring drinks to enjoy afterward.
The treatment and sauna experience can be tailored on a physical, psychological, or spiritual level. In Finnish folk tradition, the vihta carried the power of the sauna, and it was respected along with the sauna itself.
