About Me – Sauna-Sanna

I am deeply enchanted by nature — its silence, rhythm, and grounding presence have been a part of me since childhood. I enjoy spending time alone, even though I'm open and approachable by nature. I value honesty and authenticity in others as well — small talk has never been my strength, so I tend to speak directly from the heart.

Through yoga, I find a space where my own nervous system can soften and settle. It has taught me the power of touch — both in nature and in my guiding.

I'm 42 years old and a mother of three. For more than thirteen years, I've worked as a family caregiver for people with developmental disabilities. My first education was as a practical nurse, followed by a vocational qualification in developmental disability care.

My Yoga Journey

A few years ago, I set out on a journey of self-discovery and found my path in yoga. I first completed the Levon Yin Yoga Teacher 100h training, which deepened my love for bodywork and calming the nervous system. Inspired by this, I continued with the Terrasoul Yoga Teacher 200h training in Helsinki, focusing on the aspects I value most — mindful movement, body awareness, and holistic well-being.

Along the way, I've also earned certifications as an EFT Tapping instructor, drum healer, and completed courses in singing bowls. I am currently studying to become a traditional Finnish sauna practitioner, fascinated by the Baltic Finnish folk traditions, mythology, and the multisensory effects of the sauna — past and present.

In spring 2025, I qualified as a Saunayoga instructor, and later this year I will expand my practice with cupping therapy.
